Timeline for 2022
Grounds open at 8:30 am and the road closes to traffic
9:30 am: Sprout Sprint takes kids for 3 laps around the school
9:55 am: Group Stretch
10:00 am: 5k line up, mark, and horn
10:30 am: Food opens for sale.
12:00 pm: 5k event closes, road reopens to traffic.
12:30 pm: Lunch ends and the grounds are cleaned.
Tulip Trot Tee 2022
All students at Green Street School will receive a free Tulip Trot 5k shirt! Thanks to the PTO for donating free shirts and offering free registration this year! Contact your child's teacher or Miss Mo in the office for student t-shirt information.
A student design has been chosen for 2022! Stay tuned, this sweet tee will be available for sale! Sponsors will get their logo featured on the back too!

No Time Like The Present
You may wonder why there will be no professional race timing this year.
While we always have a great experience with the race timing company 3C, this is our first year planning the Tulip Trot 5k since the pandemic began. We've been through major changes in 2 years. We haven't had a school gathering, we haven't even had an all-school sing yet. We made important sacrifices as a school, but it means we will need to slowly gather our steam for bigger and better things to come. This Tulip Trot will focus on and commit to building up our school as a community. A community involves staff, students, families, and also our surrounding support systems and neighbors. We at the PTO have made this event free this year, to encourage all to participate and build confidence in our physical strengths and resilience.
